Growin' Up by Bob Rose Newquist
When I was a small boy
I got 'em other lil' boys to make fun of me
Ya know it wasn't all my fault
It was the name my mama gave me.
Now, this is a true story
But just written into a country song
YEEEEHAWWW!!!!!
Yeah, When I was growin' up
Lil' Boys n' Girls!!!
Made fun of ma nay-ay-ame!
Now this ol' Country Western song might not explain enough
But I wrote this song
Of my---- Feelings.
I don't know why I call this song
A Country Western song
I'm from the east
Yeah, Rhode Island, Dog!
They used to make fun of me
But now I'm a Country Singer!
I'm famous!
I'm famous!
Beat that lil' now ol' Boys n' Girrrrrrrrrls!
Y'all don' know how much what y'all said hurt me
But I grew up n' got over it, ya know?
Now I bet y'all are really jealous of me!
Because I, I
Am famous!
I'm famous!
*I wrote this song when I was a young boy about the age of 17 in 1964. Years before I was a hippy. And, I never became famous, I got rejected because I never got der singin' lessons. So I became a hippy in 1973, and I got a computer machine and I put my song on here.*
